Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

• Business Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify requirements from customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the new data mart’s objectives.

• Requirement Documentation: Document clear and detailed business and technical requirements to guide the development process.

• Data Modeling: Analyze and model business requirements into multi-dimensional data models (star and snowflake schemas) for use in the data mart.

• Data Querying: Query data using SQL to analyze and retrieve the necessary business data from source systems hosted in Snowflake.

Client Development:

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with international stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met in the data mart design.

• Requirement Analysis: Gather and analyze customer requirements to create well-defined, actionable documentation for developers.

Project Development and Execution:

• Design & Documentation for Developers: Create scoping documentation that defines the development of views and tables in Snowflake for reporting purposes.

• Testing & Validation: Test and validate the work delivered by developers to ensure the final product aligns with the documented requirements.

• Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with developers to ensure the data model design and data flow align with business needs.

Team Leadership:

• Source Control: Utilize version control tools (such as GIT) to manage code and data models, ensuring consistent development processes.

• Tool Usage: Leverage tools like MagicDraw, DBeaver, Confluence, Jira, and Tableau for data modeling, reporting, and project management.

You Are a Perfect Fit If You:

• Have Experience in Business Analysis: At least 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on BI analytics, reporting, and data modeling.

• Have a higher Education degree (Bachelor/Masters).

• Are Fluent in English (Spoken and written, C1 minimum level) and preferably Dutch.

• Are a Hands-On person. You are used to defining strategies, plans, and approaches and can put them on paper and bring them to life with a team.

• Are Proficient in SQL: You can confidently write and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data.

• Understand Data Warehousing & Modeling: You have hands-on experience designing star and snowflake schemas and working with multi-dimensional data models.

• Know Your Way Around Snowflake: Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms is essential for understanding how the data mart functions.

• Have Worked with Version Control Tools: Proficiency in tools like GIT for source control, managing versions, and collaborating on code development.

• Skilled in Data Tools: Experience with tools like MagicDraw, DBeaver, Tableau, Jira, and Confluence to support data modeling, documentation, and reporting.

• Communicate Effectively: You can document requirements clearly, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and professionally engage with stakeholders.

• Have a Strong Analytical Mindset: You’re able to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights that contribute to improving business processes.
