Job description
High-quality Jira support, with room to grow
Are you the one who gets customers moving again when Jira doesn't do what it should? At Brainboss, you provide first- and second-line support at a level our customers experience as a high-quality service. That's your focus, and you're very welcome there. Would you also like to develop into a Subject Matter Expert or a consultant in Product Portfolio Management (PPM)? Then we make that possible.
Brainboss is an Atlassian Gold Solution Partner. We help organizations align strategy, teams and tools with One Framework, One Method, One Unified IT Toolset. Getting you from idea to delivery.
Job requirements
What will you do?
You join a growing support organization that is deliberately not a standard helpdesk. Our customers experience Brainboss support as a high-quality service, and you help keep it at that level.
You answer first- and second-line support questions from national and international customers about Jira and the wider Atlassian stack.
You analyze incidents and service requests, resolve them yourself or escalate them in a targeted way to our specialists and consultants.
You look for the root cause behind a question, so the same problem doesn't come back.
You document solutions in Confluence, so customers and colleagues can build on them.
You work alongside our consultants on PPM and service management engagements, building your subject-matter knowledge step by step.
Growing is possible, not required
Is support your craft and do you want to excel at it? Then you're in the right place. For us, good support isn't a stepping stone; it's the core of what we deliver. Do you have the ambition to grow further? Then the path is open:
Atlassian Support Specialist – you're a steady presence in our support team and know our customers and their environments inside out.
Subject Matter Expert – you become the go-to person for a specific domain, such as the Atlassian Strategy Collection, Jira Service Management or Assets.
Consultant PPM – you guide customers in setting up portfolio management and Business-IT alignment, with SAFe and the Atlassian tooling.
Whether you want to deepen your current role or grow further: we offer all the training you need.
Atlassian University – full access to training, learning paths and preparation for Atlassian certifications.
Methodology – training in SAFe, portfolio management and ITIL 4, among others.
Learning from colleagues – you work side by side with experienced consultants and experts every day, who are happy to share their knowledge.
What do you bring?
What we ask
At least 3 years of experience providing Jira support. Certifications aren't required; you can earn them with us.
Experience handling first- and second-line support questions.
Native Dutch and Good command of English.
Enjoyment in helping customers and curiosity about the solution.
Nice to have
Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Jira Service Management or other Atlassian products.
An affinity with agile ways of working or portfolio management.
