As an experienced project manager, you will oversee the implementation and optimization of IT Portfolio Management processes and the associated tools for organizations seeking to enhance their business agility. Your responsibilities will encompass organizing and managing improvement projects that substantially elevate our clients' value delivery to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project management: Manage and oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. Manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning to delivery and closure.

• Project planning & execution: Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, establishing clear milestones and timelines for successful project delivery.

• Risk & issue management: Proactively identify and manage project risks, making necessary adjustments to mitigate issues and ensure deliverables meet business quality standards.

• Progress monitoring & reporting: Monitor progress across multiple projects within the portfolio, making data-driven adjustments as required.

• Stakeholder communication: Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication across teams and stakeholders. Present portfolio-level updates and maintain alignment with broader objectives.

• Portfolio optimization: Collaborate closely with senior leadership to evaluate project portfolio health, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively across projects to maximize strategic impact.

• Continuous learning: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, enhancing both your skills and the team's capabilities.

• Coaching: Demonstrate the ability to coach colleagues and improve team performance.

You a perfect fit if you:

• Hold a higher education degree (Bachelor's/Master's).

• Are proficient in both spoken and written English and Dutch (C1 level or higher).

• Are a hands-on individual, accustomed to defining strategies, plans, and approaches, and capable of translating them into actionable steps with a team.

• Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager or consultant in client-facing roles, preferably in an IT-environment.

• Have experience in IT portfolio management and working with supporting tooling.

• Have solid experience in project or change management, particularly in large-scale transformation projects.

• Have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects and managing a portfolio of initiatives in sectors such as Financial Services (Retail, Leasing, Insurance, Banking) or Government (ministries, public sector).

• Are knowledgeable about Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps) and/or hold relevant certifications.

• Preferably, have Lean Six Sigma certifications.

• Possess recognized project management certifications.

• Are a true team player who enjoys guiding and inspiring colleagues.

• Have in-depth knowledge of change management frameworks and methodologies.

• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Are passionate about continuous learning and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
