Junior Consultant Information Security (Internship) - ISO 27001 Certification Project

Are you passionate about quality management and looking to make a real impact? Join our dynamic team as a Junior Consultant Intern and play a key role in obtaining the ISO 27001 certification. This internship offers hands-on experience in risk management, compliance, and security governance within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders at Brainboss to help shape our security posture and contribute to real tangible improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct gap analyses against ISO 27001 standards

• Develop and document security policies and procedures

• Participate in risk assessments and internal audits

• Coordinate training and awareness campaigns across departments

• Contribute to the creation of the Statement of Applicability (SoA)

• Track project milestones and prepare progress reports for stakeholders

• Research best practices and emerging trends in information security

• Support the certification audit preparation, including evidence collection and audit logistics

You're a perfect fit if you:

• Are a Bachelor's or Master's student in your final stage of studying in Quality Management, Health Safety & Environment, or a related field.

• Are fluent in English (C1) and preferably Dutch.

• Are assertive and have strong communication and analytical skills.

• Have a strong interest in information security frameworks, especially ISO 27001

• Have basic knowledge of risk management or compliance (bonus points for any prior ISO experience!)

• Enjoy working in a team and thrive in a structured project environment

• Are a team player and adapt quickly in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

• Have a proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
